There are daily flights from Makassar to Kendari, from Kendari you can take the fast boat to Bau Bau. Another possibility is to take a Pelni ship from Makassar to Bau Bau. Once in Bau Bau you can take the night boat to Hoga, or you could stay a night over in the beautiful Hill House overlooking the bay in Bau Bau. This will take you 24 hours.
